Jonathan Smith
Pastor
Jonathan Smith is a man who never meets a stranger. He is a people’s person. He can get along with anyone. Even when people show themselves to be difficult, he challenges himself to find a way to relate to them, in hopes to find out why they seem so difficult to get along with. Like most men, Jonathan wears many hats. Father, Husband, Teacher Pastor, just to name a few. His most important role or hat is being a father to Jonathan Sharod Smith Jr., a bonus dad to Jhanye Randolph, and a Husband to Keisha J. Smith. Jonathan and Keisha were childhood friends, and have been happily married for three years. Jonathan is passionate about ministry, because of the things he has suffered in life, he is committed to protecting the authenticity of the human heart against trauma, and unexpected life transitions. His passion is to empower people in understanding the will of God for their lives, and to help people to see he is just like you, and no different. “If not for the grace of God I would not be here today. I am trying to make it to the Kingdom of Heaven every day of my life.” It is his hope, that he make an impact in peoples lives, that they may know that God is real and to trust him in every situation they face in life.
Keisha Smith
Pastor
Keisha Smith is a woman who loves life. She is an advocate for people living their truth no matter what people think. She often refers to herself as a bully’s bully, that girl is rough. She doesn’t believe in biting her tongue. If she is passionate about it, she is going to speak on it no matter who she’s addressing. She attributes this trait to being her mother and father’s child. She is real in hopes that being so will give people permission to be real too. She loves her family, and her sister Tezra is one of her favorite people. Growing up on the east side of Atlanta with her mom and sisters, taught her to be strong and resilient and it was at that time in her life she knew she had to be that for people who was too afraid to do so. Keisha wasn’t able to have children of her own so when God blessed her with Jhanye, it changed her life. It has matured her, given her purpose and a way to watch all things Disney! She believes in fairy tales and often refers to her husband Jonathan as prince charming. He was destined to come at the right time and rescue her into her happily ever after, which to her was her destiny. She received him and the blessing of a bonus son, LJ. During their marriage, they have had rough and amazing moments and as strong natured as she is, she knows he is who God has designed for her life and she fights to protect that calling. It is those rough moments that make them great together. They are known as the couple with power. If you know Keisha you know she doesn’t play when it comes to God and her obedience to Him. She will tell you unapologetically if God said it you have no other options and that’s how she tries to live her life. She has shared her pain, insecurities, strengths, and triumphs with the women from every background. She owns her story even if it means exposing herself or walking alone. It is a journey she is willing to make. Keisha isn’t perfect at all and somehow she finds the beauty in that.
